BCBS of Illinois...anyone?

Hi Patricia: I've been trying to get approved by BCBS of Il for a year now. My husband's company changed to them in Jan 05. They are hard to deal with. I am going for my 3rd consult with my surgeon next Thursday. I just hope and pray that the records my PCP has been keeping are going to be sufficient. My doctor is as frustrated as I am. They also stall you about when they received your records. Sometimes it takes two weeks or more for them to enter it into their system and then they take their 30 days to decide whether or not to approve you. They sure don't want to wait thirty days for their premiums!

They suck!! The don't care about their policy holders!! I live in Iowa but my employeers home office is in IL, so we have that insurance. They just really don't care abou their policy holders. I wish I could find other insurance and say screw you!!! Good luck, Jen
