denied b/c

decision was made on 8/25/05 denied because bc/bs say i only have 5 months of supervised diet, i know they have 6 months of dieting, from jan/june. just another reason bc/bs stalling people. my surgeon office will be refaxing the info they need.

HI Angelia, I'm awaiting my denial from BC/BS IL....should be coming any day now. On my policy, it is a 12 month supervised diet and I submitted with 7 months...so I'm expecting to be in the same situation as you soon. Are you still on the diet? If so, I would appeal their decision immediately. Please don't let them off the hook on this. They are the absolute worst insurance company out there!!!!!! I'm sending good wishes your way!! i did the 6mo s. diet that my plan requires, bc/bs say they only receive 5 months of it, so i am resubmiting what they require plus 2 more months. i am still doing my s. diet in case something change. i will never give up, good luck.
