Appeal for appeal help!!!!

My insurance has turned down my first application for WLS. They are saying it is not medically necessary because I'm not THAT overweight .... my diabetes isn't THAT out of control ..... my blood pressure isn't THAT high .... etc. In short, I'm not fat enough or sick enough for it to be medically necessary. So I start the appeal process - - and here's where I need the help. A friend had WLS earlier this year (no approval problem), but she was prepared to appeal. She found a site with sample appeal letters, but now she can't remember where it was. OK, so after all my rambling, that's what I'm asking - - - - - Does anyone out there know of a site with sample appeal letters???

I found it on this site too! I copied and pasted it but I saved it at work... if you have any problems finding it let me know by e-mailing me and when I get to work Monday I'll e-mail the letter to you.. Jeri H
