What should I do??

I was planning on having VBG done and saw a doctor for consult. They have submitted to insurance for pre-d. I have an exclusion and I am waiting to hear back. My problem is that I have been researching more and I have decited that the RNY is better for me. Should I wait to hear back from the insurance or should I go ahead and get a consult with a doctor that does RNY now? Suggestions? Brandi

If you are wanting RNY then I would call your DR and let him know. This is a serious decision and you should get the type of surgery you want. Just my thoughts on things.
