HMO Blues... does anyone know of other options????

I have been seeking WLS for over a year now. My insurance has droped the proceedure from it's coverage and have done nothing but fight me on this issue. I have the Lovelace Health plan, but what I'd like to know is this; what insurances are compatable w/ WLS? Are there other services avalable perhaps through the government? I'm getting desperate to find a solution! I really am beginning to feel the health problems associated with my weight... Please help
