BS BS of AL

Has anyone in Alabama used Gary Viscio with obesitylawyers.com. My husbands claim has been "in processing" since the second week in July. He desperately needs this surgery. Multiple co-morbidities. When he calls BC BS to check on the claim, they tell him that it could take up to 90 days from the date of his call. They say they are backlogged. Just wanted to know it anyone in Alabama has had any success with Mr. Viscio. It looks more and more like we will have to retain an attorney for the approval. It is amazing that we pay in good faith every month and BC BS can do this to people. When I was in pre determination for my RNY it took them 3 weeks to approve. That was in 2004. Any help would be appreciated. The insurer is BC BS PEEHIP. Any one else approved since their stupid insurance change last year? Thanks for letting me VENT. Tina.
