Insurance Blues

I have insurance at my job but my company has opted to not allow the bariatric surgery. I have alot of health problems: hypertension, sleep apnea, diabetes, leg and knee pain, back pain, high chlosteral and depression from my weight problem. Does anyone have any idea if there is a way to get them to pay? Thanks, Barb

How is it worded on your policy? I know some will say it won't cover weight loss surgery unless it's medically necessary. If it's medically necessary then you get ALL your doctors to back you with letters. Donna 338/193
