help i am so worried about my appoval. i have heard that bcbc of alabama is really hard to get an approval! has anyone gotton an approval from them in the last couple of months?

Hi Lynne, No approval yet...still fighting. I am starting my 6th month of physician supervised diet...again. I so want my life and my health. I am trying to lose weight on my own but it just isn't working. Good Luck to you Lynne... Beth

I was approved for the RNY in less than 1 week with BCBS of AL but I do not want the RNY I want the DS of which they say is 'investigational'.

did you have a 12 month medically supervised diet?

No, I did not but that was before they changed the rules in November or December.

I THOUGHT IT WAS SIX MONTHS OMG!
