Which lawyer for appeal ??

I've been denied for lap band by federal BCBS PPO. I am planning to appeal. I talked to both Gary Viscio (obesitylawyers.com). and the people at obesitylaw.com (Walter Lindstrom) They both seem knowledgeable. Anyone have any testimonials you'd like to share ??

Well Gary just got me my Lap band approval from Aetna. It was a self funded plan and pretty complicated. It took a while but we won. Gary also really has his heart in what he does. That was a big deal for me. I was never just another client.All in all he is a good guy and that really comes through when you talk with him.. Good luck. I hope that helps. AMy

I used Gary, I'm sure they're both good and won't share stories about others. He got me approved.. I can tell you from friends that it takes much longer now with anyone because there are so many more denials. Gary usually emails or calls you back pretty quickly though I know 3 weeks ago he was in the hospital for dehydration and a week later his grandfather died. His father died I think in March or April, but even with all that he's been working hard. Good luck. Ell
