has anyone self paid

Good morning all! Has anyone found a hospital that will except personal payment plans without financing the surgery? Im trying my hardest to find one. I heard some of the bigger institutions do but im not sure.

Hi Melanie: I think I have called about every state to see what the going rate is for the surgery. I was checking on the lap gastric by-pass. It ranges any where from 18000 to 30000. The cheapest one was in Alabama. Dr. Freeman I think is his name. If you got he AL forum, you can see he docs there. He is at about 18000. That is why I am Mexico bound. You can get it done there for 12000 with a creditable doc. Good luck on your quest!! Jen
