BC/BS Federal opproval in less than a day?

Im wondering if im missing something or if im just damn Lucky. My Dr Office called in for Pre-Authorization this morning. This afternoon i called Blue Cross to see if they had received the request and they told me that they had and that i had been Authorized and gave me the Authorization Number. I have only met with my Surgeon once. He gave me a through the clothes physical and that was it. Never had blood tests, didn't have to collect any medical records, no Psych Eval. Nada! I know my Insurance only states that a person has to be over 18 and have a BMI over 40. But it's hard to beleive it was this simple. Anybody have it this easy or am i missing Something?
