BCBS State plan too picky!!!

Well, I got all my paperwork together with the exception of my pcp referral.The referral was sent in a week later,but they immediately sent me a denial stating that I needed a referral from my PCP, Well the pcp referral was sent,and low and behold denial again...because the letter was written by FNP and not a DR yet both are of the same office and write my perscriptions etc.. Is this all they will need,,.....or will they ask for my first born ? Good Grief, what more could the want...I am so sick and tired of BEING sick and tired. Any advice sure would be appreciated!! I have BCBS of NE. They are rediculous too. They will ask for something and make me wait and ask for something else and make me wait. It's just a stall tactic. I turned in everything they asked for the 100 different times they asked for it and they still denied me saying that NOW I need to have 2 years of Dr. supervised diets. I would recommend that you get all the medical records you can up front. Make a diet list, write a letter pleading your case, do everything you can think of up front and send it all in together. If you have more than one Dr. who thinks this would be an ideal surgery for you, then ask them all to write a recommendation. When you send it all in together they will have to be very specific about what else they want from you. BECAUSE.....there intention is to frustrate you into giving up. Good luck.
