United Healthcare Choice Plus (CII) Exclusion States...

"Surgical treatment and non-surgical treatment of obesity (including morbid obesity)." However, it does not state anything about medical necessity. Based on that, what is the general consensus as to me having a chance of having LapBand approved? Note: there is evidence that others with UHC Choice Plus have been approved as recently as this past month. I'm still waiting on my information packet from the Surgeon's office. In the meantime is there anything else I can be doing to get ready for this whole process/procedure?
