Could use some advice!

Hi everyone. I have been reading and reading on Lap Band and Im sure this would help me. Ive dieted all my life, been big all my life and now at 5'3" and 325lbs, Im sure something has to be done. I dont have any serious medical problems other than the obesity. But lately, I get tired all the time, my knees are giving out more and I have to do something before I miss out on all of life. Problem is...I dont have any insurance.When looking and choosing, Will they cover me, should I tell them I am intending to get Lap Band, who is a good insurer in Ga that will cover this kind of surgery? I look through insurers and I have no idea what to look for, what to exclude. Whew, its alot. Ive never had to have insurance, because Ive never had alot of medical problems but now need it and am lost. So, can anyone help? I sure would appreciate it! Angela
