tricare, prime vs standard

i asked tri care about enrolling in prime, as anticipating wls, out of net and co pays , i was told i could enroll before the twenth of the month and it would apply the following month, and stay ineffect until i stop paying the premium at which time it will revert to standard, you cant loose the standard.

Hi Walter, I have Tricare Standard and was just denied. The reason was it was not covered under the code submitted. I do not know what that means and will get in touch with them first thing Monday. Hope this surgery is covered under Standard?? Any suggestions??? Becky
