TENNESSEE must cover WLS beginning 1/1/06!!!!!

Hmm...that's a good question... But I don't think they could legally do that if there is a specific law that states they have to treat surgery for obesity just like any other medically necessary surgery and as long as they follow the NIH guidelines. I am thinking that is the reason for the law anyways becuz so many insurance companies are refusing to cover WLS. I dunno though, I could be wrong. I wish Gary or Walter would read this post and give us their opinion on it. Tammy
