No Experienced Surgeon

Hello All. I am praying to have WLS. My insurance will cover the procedure, but the only doctor in my area (that they will approve) has only done the surgery 4 TIMES. I requested an Out of Network Referral, but was told that since I don't have that priveledge on my plan, there is no way I can get my request approved. What can I do?

1. Ask for referrals from the previous four clients. If they have done well and feel that they get good after-care then it might be worth it. Remember that the docs with the least experience are the ones most likely to have complications. 2. Get a lap band and go self pay. You can get a lapband for $8000-$14000, depending where you go. My insurance doesn't pay for the lap band, but they say that they will pay for most complications and possibly fills (depends on who you talk to). 3.
