Approved my BC/BS under 18?

BLAH stupid dumb insurance people ::sigh:: they won't give me the surgery because they are not convinced that i'm done growing ... they ordered x-rays from my PCP to determine if i'm "done" but my PCP can't officially tell me that i'm "done" growing because people well into their 30's have growth spurts ... anyways my little mind was wondering.. and if anyone under the age of 18 with BC/ BS has been approved please let me know Thanks soooo much!!!!

I don't know the answer to your question, but have you completely excluded the lap-band? I would think that the lap band would be a better choice for someone of your age. With the lap band there would be no problem having children later on and if there are any problems, you can just have it unfilled or even removed.

They have to look out for their butts because they don't want to approve your surgery and then you or your parents sue the pants off them. There are laws that protect minors and EVERYONE must fallow those laws. I know its sucks but that's part of life. Donna 338/233 -105
