Insurance Coverage for Minors

I've just been denied for the first time from bc/bs of IL... not a good feeling at all but the only reason that I was denied was because of my age, i'm still only 17. Since I have healthcare through my step-mom she can't wait to drop me from it as soon as I finish highschool... Does anyone know of any other Insurance companys that have previously approved minors? Or any other helpful information at all ...I would name my first born after you if you could help haha can you tell i'm despirate? Thanks for the help!

If you go to college your step mom can keep carrying you and then you might get approved. Why does she want to drop you? I have BCBS of IL they where not easy to get approved through but I did. Donna 338/238 -100
