pass dieting

i am doing my 6 months supervised diet now...in the pass i have done some dieting never under a doctor supervision other than my diabetic diet i have been on and off for 12yrs...my bmi is 47 and i am 261 lbs with several co-ob...do you think bc/bs will turn me down because of less diet attempts

No, because they cannot prove that you haven't been trying on your own. The 6 month thing is to delay things (the longer they don't have to pay, the more interest their money makes before they must pay it out). They claim it is to make sure that you will be able to stick to the diet to make the surgery actually work and be worthwhile.

If you fallow the insurance companies guide lines they should not turn you down. They might throw loops in there to mess with you but don't let it block your way to having WLS Best of luck Donna 338/248 -90
