Revision Denied

I'm seeking a revision. The insurance company denied based on the fact my BMI is not high enough. Of course it is not high enough because I had the Gastric Bypass 3 years ago and lost 165 pounds. I am gaining weight. I have severe obstructive sleep apnea (diagnosed after the surgery), herniated disc, slipped vertabra, mitral valve regurgitation. I think I have enough co-morbs. They originally denied me by mistake before all paperwork was submitted. The girl then did not know what to do with the paperwork and admitted to the Dr. office that she dropped the ball. She even called me to apologize. So they rushed for the authorization and it was denied. Talk about incompetence. The Surgeon's office has been excellent. I have to wait for the denial letter before I appeal. I am trying to have the stoma fixed. They are reviewing as if I am a first time candidate.
