Does anyone know how the appeal process works: specifically Aetna open access HMO...

Does any one know the appeal process ? Specifically Aetna. Are there specific forms or a certain way that I should write the letter. Aetna told me that is would be best if the doctors office sent the request in. I have an appointment to discuss this with the tomorrow. Any help is appreciated. Cynamon1

Go to their website. Aetna posts their requirements there for surgery. Outline point by point, how you meet their criteria to show the denial is in error. Go get 'em!
