401K ??????????

Has anyone borrowed against thier 401k? I'm considering it. Tina A

I am considering that, among other things (home equity loan). The only way I'd do it is if we'd be exempt from the penalties. Does anyone know if medical expenses would exempt a 401K withdrawal from getting penalties? Elizabeth
