Aetna is full of BS! (Rant)

I started my process in December. I called at least 5 times in December to verfy my company will still cover wls in 2005. I called and it was noted in my file that I spoke to at least 3 people in January 2005 before I started and paying for psychiartist, pcp, dietician and personal trainer. They all told me my company still covers wls. Well for some reason before my second visit to the pschiartis which is $40 a pop every 2 weeks, I decided to call to clarification on personal trainer. Mike the rep stated my company does not cover Bariatic surgery. I told him do you see where I spoke to at least 3 reps in the begginning of this month and they all stated it was covers. Well yes maam but they made a mistake, sorry. Of course I wanted to speak to a supervisor and he gave me an excuse about her being in a meeting for an hour, I told him I would wait. Of course he keep getting back on line asking me if I was sure I wanted to waited, 15 minutes later a supposely supervisor got on the line and said the exact same thing he said, I told her I wanted in writing so they will be mailing it to me. I had 2 of my co-workers call and they stated our plan does not cover wls. I talk with my hr rep and she stated she thought we purchased the rider, she had to check with our Aetna rep. So I have to wait till tommorrow. I'm so pissed, sorry for the spelling and the long rant.

Thanks Donna. I talk with my hr rep and since Aetna didn't tell my company they will not be covering wls in 2005, Aetna had to reinstate coverage for 2005. So I'm continuing my process to get approval.
