help please

can anyone tell me if this is a good thing or a bad thing, and if it is a good thing what should i expect or what should i do while i am there? i sent in paper work for wls , i was denied 07/22/04 , i sent in my appeal 11/30 was received by humana 12/06, i recieved a letter for a greivance meeting , is that a good thing or bad thing , can some tell what happens at a grevance meeting.

I'm not familar with Humana personally, but I think the grievance meeting is an appeal level where you get to tell your side of the story. In that regard, I would consider it an opportunity, and a "good thing." In the meeting, stress your diet attempts, and any comorbidities you may have. Do you know anyone else who has been approved by Humana for WLS? I had heard that they won't cover it. Fight the good fight! Roberta
