what can i do about insurance

i called united healthcare and they said because i work for the state of arizona i do not have coversge for any weight loss surgery or medication because arizona didn't write it into the plan. is there anything i can do?

i too would like info about medications whether or not some things are considerd medication or just pills. What about the gastric bypass pills i found through a link at http://www.bypassbible.com ? Are they medicatins or not
