Sex reassignment.. and this is not off topic.... if it gets pulled....oh well, I was just reading their policy bulletins and checking the revisions for obesity surgery, came across the "sex reassignment" policy bulletin.. I could not believe my eyes ...They will pay for gender surgery, but make it virtually impossible to have gastric bypass.. I equate gastric bypass to like having heart surgery, or any other major surgery used to preserve life and restore health. I find this very hard to believe that the doctor reviewing my case thought I did not qualify for surgery, especially considering my health and history.. this is ridiculous and I am outraged!
