Insurance - Post-Op

I'm now 16 months post-op and have been on a high-risk insurance. Now that I've lost 275 pounds and about 75 pounds from goal I'm looking into a "normal" insurance plan here in California but am still being denied. Anyone in a similiar situation that has been succesful getting cheaper insurance post-op? Thanks!
