self-pay.. need help

Anyone know of anyone who was denied by cigna then went on to self-pay and send in appeal and won?? Having lap-band on the 19th.. hubbys comp {sprint ] is drop'n cigna jan1st... will my appeal carry on to next year??

Your denial letter says you have 365 days to appeal the decision. You should ALWAYS appeal. Insurance companies bank on you walking away defeated. Fight the good fight! Roberta
