Does Aetna pay for Tummy Tuck?

I have to pick my new insurance and I have a choice of BCBS or Aetna. I would like to eventually have a tummy tuck to remove all the excess skin but was wondering which carrier would pay for it. and which one I should go with. If any one could help me that would be wonderful! Thanks so much! Carrie

Every plan/policy is different. You need to check the Summary Plan Description for covered benefits and exclusions.

A friend of mine has Aetna. She had WLS and lost a significant amount of weight. The skin on her stomach was rubbing the top of her legs and the doctor sent a letter stating that it was a necessary surgery and AETNA DID PAY FOR IT!! She had no problem at all with Aetna.
