Blue Cross Blue Shield of WY

hello to all, I have been waiting to hear from the insurance company for the last 2 weeks to see if they would approve me for Health Ins. I just got a letter today saying that " it has been determined that you are not of ordinary health". I have had no health problems at all except for my weight. I have had insurance through BCBS before. I have a loan from my mother to have the WLS. So I will self-pay and go to Mexico for the Lap Band.. Thank you all.. Christa

That's lovely of them. What they are saying is come back in a year or two once you have developed medical problems and then we shall see what we can do for you. I'm happy you where able to get the money together to go have this surgery. Best of luck and keep us posted out here. Donna
