No Insurance yet!

I tried to apply with United Health Care and have yet to receive a reply from them. I posted my weight, height and everything that they asked for and they have yet to call me. I'm worried that they will not insure me due to my size because they probably assume this is something I'm after! The U.S. calls this an epidimic then they should be pulling out all the stops to help us.

Its an individual policy. My job doesn't offer health insurance (cheap bast@#$) I think Humana may approve me ... looking in my favor!

Hi Heather, I am in the same boat you are. No Insurance yet and really need to have WLS. I am looking into Blue Cross Blue Sheild. I hope they will cover me and a WLS. My sister has BC/BS in NV and they are covering her's. She is having it done on the 30th of Sept. Please let me know how it goes for you. Thanks Christa
