Finally approved after 6 mos

I wanted to let everyone know that I finally got approved through BCBS. I had to get my company involved as we are self funded which I didn't know at the start of things. I also was able to find some additional information. I was not going to take no from them when I had copies of the criteria in my possesion and I met everyone. The policy change didn't apply to me thank god because I had originally requested approval before they made the change to require a 12 mos supervised diet. All I can say is stick to the facts, be pleasant even though you want to rip their heads off and do research. Get everything in writing never trust a phone call. I thank everyone for the good advice it was priceless and helped me gain approval for BCBS. Cheri
