Any success with External Appeal?

I was wondering what the outcome was for those of you that have had to go all the way to an External Appeal for Lap-band surgery. Especially if the insurance company denied it because they consider it "experimental". Thanks for any info. Lisa

Lisa, The lap band was approved for use by the FDA and if you check INAMED's website their will be information on long term studies up to 3-5 years. Dont let them play around. I don't know the exact site but do a yahoo search and you'll find it. Gary www.obesitylawyers.com
