BC/ BS Blue Access PPO ( KY)

has anyone had experience with this ins. company?

I don't have specific experience perse but my husband recently got a job that had BC/BS Blue Access PPO out of OH and I was extremely excited by the responses and approvals listed on this website. However when I called I found out that the specific policy did not cover WLS at all. Make sure you call and ask. Elizabeth

that's the same answer I got when I called. But maybe with the dr. referral and a lot of insistance I can get them to approve...I heard that they always say they don't cover it, if you just call to see. They think you will just forget the idea and let it go and they won't have to pay. keep trying anyway, Rita

Rita, Have you had any luck? I have this same policy and they are telling me know. I am getting ready to appeal. Please do not give up. Beth M
