DENIED COVERAGE B/C OF WLS

This is so outrageous! Humana turned me down for personal insurance coverage because of ("including but not limited to gastric banding, depression, and hypoglycemia.") I know someone else had this problem before, and I think it is legal for them to discriminate in this way, isn't it?
