thought surgery was approved--but

I have Morris and Associates-ppo. I received a letter stating the surgery was approved, however today when I called my surgeons ofc. I was told that approval was still pending upon the report from the psychologists ofc. I went to the pschololgist yesterday 5/6 and the secretary at that ofc kind of laughed when I asked her if there was any way we could get that report asap..I tried to explain all of my pre-op things are being done next Fri. 5-14-04 and we needed this approved asap. Seems like she doesn't understand how important this is to me. I kind of got that feeling yesterday when I went in for the appt.. Is there anything more I could say to get the report asap? I guess the worst that could happen is that we have to move back the surgery date?

Hi Debbie, Have the surgeon's office, preferrably the surgeon, call the psychologist personally and you will have that report in time for your surgery. Pat (PNP for 23 years)
