? on paying insurance out of pocket

I'm wondering if anyone on this board pays or has paid for insurnace out of pocket to get WLS and if so what Insurance company? If all else fails and BCBS of ILL refuses to pay for my WLS then I'm thinking of paying for my own insurance. Donna
