appeal....how long till i hear??

hi all, i was denied by my ins. co. and filed an appeal. i called today and they have received it. i was just wondering for those of you who have filed an appeal..how long until you heard something?? i know that they have 30 days,but i was hoping it would be sooner. thanks, tracy

Keep on top of them. Your policy book should say how long they have, but if its a straight HMP PPO and not self funded plan they can be very lax without legal implications. Make sure they have everything and keep following up without being a pest. Good luck Gary Viscio www.obesitylawyers.com
