Oh no! No weight record!

My insurance, Aetna, requires I show a history of morbid obesity for at least five years. That would put me in 1999 but my doctor didn't record my weight in that year. Nor in 1998 either. Another doctor before him, in 1997 has a weight recorded at 226 lbs. At my height, 5' 4", I need to be at least 233 lbs. in order for my BMI to be forty. I got up to 235 lbs. in the spring of 1998 but no one has a record of it! The next years with recorded weights are in 1999 with a weight of 195 lbs. That was after doing Atkins for six months. I don't have a weight recorded showing me above 233 lbs. till 2001 which is only three years ago. I don't know what to do. I tried calling Aetna for advice but I was told to just submit what info I have and see what happens. Real nice. Because the only recorded weight showing me as having a BMI of 40 is in 2001 I'm afraid I'll have to wait till 2006 before my required five years is up and I don't want to have to wait that long. Can anyone help? Or has anyone had a similar situation? Lynda D.

Do you have any records during those years from a gym, or Weigh****chers or anything like that? What about pictures? I think if you could show pictures of yourself at higher weights that were clearly dated, (like with your kids getting older, etc.) it might help. Good luck! Roberta
