why im i having to wait so long for my surgery date.

i saw my dr. in oct.03.every is done just waiting for asurgery date.has anyone else had this problem with medicare.?

Medicare does not pre authorize approval for WLS. Your physician has to file after the fact and hope they get paid. What you need to do to ensure this happening, is to get letters from ALL of your treating physicians, documenting all of your co-morbidities, and stating that "these conditions are life threatening, and require WLS for treatment."
