Good News for North Carolina Residents

Live and learn. I learned something very interesting this week. North Carolina has a statute that says insurers cannot impose their own definition of medical necessity. The statute defines it, and all insurance companies are bound by it, whether their plan is employer paid self insured, or a regular insurance policy. The best part is...THERE IS NOTHING IN DEFINITION ABOUT THOSE STUPID DIET REQUIREMENTS!!! Fight the good fight! Roberta
