Good Luck in 2004

I have been denied by Cigna (of course) and I am appealing right now, but time is running out. The Cigna that I have has stated that they will not cover WLS under any cir****tances in 2004. So, looks like I will not be able to have the surgery. I am a single mom with 3 kids and could not possibly afford to pay out of pocket. I just get really frustrated that they can cover so many other things, that are not life threatening. But they look at obese people as self-inflicted freaks that do not deserve their coverage. It is discouraging when you think of all the years premiums have been paid- to no avail.
