My Insurance does not cover surgary

I have talked with my insurance (CoreSource/PHCS) and they don't cover gastric by-pass surgery. I have applied for medicaid and will be eligable for medicare in Oct./2004. Are there any doctors who will do the surgery? Dr Ganta doesn't take medicaid or medicare.
