declined by AETNA

Hey Everyone who has AETNA, I was declined today as I did not have 5 years of Doctor records. I had 3.5 years. I did not see a Dr. the other 1.5 years. They denied me based on that with the following co-morbids, kidney disease, hypertension, 49bmi,sleep apnea with cpap! CRAZY. I did my psych eval today and they will not pay for the test as well! That was $200.00. THANK GOD, my company changes to BCBS on January 1st, 2004 and we will apply with them with no problems. 2 months of waiting now. Have a stress test scheduled in Nov. and I will then be ready until I get approval from BCBS and then schedule the surgery.
