AFTER SUBMITTING NUMEROUS LETTERS AND INFO THAT BCBS HAS REQUESTED OVER A 4 MONTH PERIOD, AND THE SUPERVISED DIET PLAN. THEY NOW ARE SAYING THAT MY BMI (37.8) IS TO LOW AND THAT COMORBITIES DO NOT COUNT. THIS COMPANY EVEN HAS SUPERVISORS THAT I HAD REQUESTED TO TALK TO TELL ME THAT THEY ARE NOT EVEN GETTING THE SURGERY DUE TO THE NEW STRICT RULES THAT HAVE GONE INTO PLACE SINCE JULY, AND THAT SHE SHOULD BE MORE ELIGIBLE FOR THE SURGERY THEN MYSELF BECASUSE SHE HAS A HIGHER BMI AND CHILDREN. THAT WAS LIKE THE FINAL STRING THAT I WAS GOING TO TAKE FROM A PERSON AT A PROVIDER TO MY COMPANY, SO NOW I HAVE ENGAGED MY SITE MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, HR DEPARTMENT AND THEY HAVE GOTTEN OUR BENIFIT SERVICES INVOLVED. WHAT A MESS. MY INSURANCE WITH BC/BS COST ME A GOOD PENNY EVERY MONTH, AND THAT DOES NOT INCLUDE WHAT MY COMPANY IS PAYING IN ADDITION TO. AND AS FAR AS THAT SUPERVISOR I DON'T CARE WHAT BC/BS PFFERS HER BECAUSE IT IS IRRELEVANT TO MY CASE AND MY EMPLOYERS SERVICES THAT WE ARE PAYING FOR.
