bluechoice state benefit plan Ga HELP!

I just changed to this hmo so I can start the process to get the surgery.I am 41 w/ a BMI of 57 and I don't want to wait for years!I just read somthing on this website which indicates that as of NOV 1 bcbs is going to make it almost impossible to qualify or you have to be on a supervised diet for 18 months or somthing. any information on this please. If anyone has had experience talking directly w/ some one in the insurance claims office at the start of the process I would like to know that too. It would be nice to get the facts so I know what I'm up against. thanks evryone kate
