INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER CHARGES

THE SURGEON SENT IN MY REQUEST FOR SURGERY ONLY TO COME BACK WITH A DENIAL SAID THERE WAS A PROVISION SECTION IN THE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE WITH RESPECT TO COSMETIC TREATMENT OR SURGERY THAT STATES "WE WILL NOT COVER CHARGES FOR ANY SEVICIES TO THE MANAGEMENT OR TREATMENT OF ANY OVERWEIGHT OBESITY CONDITIONS "THEREFORE BASED ON THEIR REVIEW THEY HAVE DETERMINED THAT THE REQUESTED PROCEDURE IS NO CONSIDERED ALLOWABLE BENEFIT ACCORDING TO THE CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE . NOW TO ME CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG THIS IS NOT FOR COSMETIC BENEFIT BUT FOR HEALTH REASONS CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I'M A DIABETIC WITH HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND UNABLE TO WALK BECAUSE OF MY EXTREME WEIGHT CAUSING LOWER BACK PAIN ,CIRCULATION PROBLEMS WHICH COULD LEAD TO AMPUTATION OF A LIMB , A POSSIBLE HEART ATTACK I'M SO STRESSED RIGHT NOW . ANYBODY WITH ANY HELP SUGGESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT ME SO I CAN TAKE ANOTHER ROUTE TO HAVE THIS DONE I KNOW THAT FOR EVERY DOOR THAT SLAMS IN YOUR FACE ANOTHER IS SUPPOSED TO OPEN , SO PLEASE HELP ME OPEN ANOTHER WINDOW OR DOOR THANK YOU

fight it, fight it, fight it!!! after reading many of the insurance postings on the web site, it seems the harder you push, the better your chances. i am still fighting, and refuse to give up! have your DR write a letter, sent it with a photo, copies of the meds you are on, whatever it takes.... just don't give up! i just spoke with my boss today, and he is willing to call the President of our Co, and have HIM call Aetna............ just keep pushing, call every day and hound the insurance co, write an appeal from the heart...like you posting and tell em how you feel! good luck and DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!
