Help on Insurance Denial! (Cigna Insurance)

I just got a final denial after my Doctor's plea on my behalf with the Medical Director at Cigna. My denial is based on not having 2 professionally supervised weight loss programs for a minimum of 26 weeks in each program. I am waiting on one in the mail from E.Diets, but the other is too old and lost . Does anyone have any ideas for an appeal or any other miracles. I feel so lost!

I did not use a lawyer, but that's just my personal opinion...I did consider using one, but honestly, if you don't have those 2 diet documentations, I don't think that you're going to get approved...I fought and fought with CIGNA, but until I came up with the info that they required, I was denied...Once I had my diet documentation and went to the 2nd level appeal, I won the appeal...Unfortunately, I think you will need to find a way to get the documentation that they are asking for. When I was finally able to get the written requirements from CIGNA, it does clearly state the part of having those 2 diet documentations...The only idea that I have for you is to speak to your dr to see if he/she has ANY SORT of documentation to present to CIGNA...
