It's very frustrating to hear the person on the other end of the phone tell you that this is considered cosmetic surgery. I have hypertention and I'm a diabetic, I've been on diets and not doing as well as I would like to. I have swollen ankles every day and it's very hard to get out there and exercise if your ankles and feet are swollen and hurt. What do you do?

Contact your insurance company again and demand that they send you a copy of either the specific area where it's not covered at all, or the specific guidelines required for coverage
